Bald eagle
BowEd:
I know what you mean.Sometimes walking across the yard you'll see something coming at you on the ground. No worries it's just the shadow of a turkey vulture cruising pretty low....ha ha.
Guess I could take pictures of turkey vulture chicks too.
They like to nest in old buildings a lot with holes in the roof.
I've heard they've got some ugly looking babies....ha ha.

Here is a eagle picture from the other day right in the village near where I live.
BowEd:
Beautiful bird I must say. They sit sometimes in cottonwoods by our house also, but hav'nt made a nest by us yet.
A neighboring farmer said he was harassed by one that had a nest he got too close to on his property.
BrianS:
There are some nests I have seen down by the Seneca Alleghany Reservation along the Kinzua that are enormous. I think they just keep adding on to them every year. I fish a small lake that has eagles at it. Really cool to sit there fishing and watch a eagle dive down and grab a fish.
BowEd:
That sounds like good entertainment to me.
