This thread is devoted to posting pictures of arrow sets. No formal rules yet, just post pics and we'll see how much of a response there is.
Basic rules:
1) Two Categories: Primitive and Modern.
2) Minimum of three arrows. The arrows must be a matched set.
3) Minimum of three pictures: Entire set and at least two close ups.
4) Tell us what category you wish to participate in.
5) Tell us how you made the arrows and what they will be used for.
Primitive arrows must be made of natural materials. You can gather these yourself (if you wish) but buying/trading for them is OK too. Using modern tools is OK (but using stone tools might get you more kudos). The arrows can be made of anything that was available before the year 1900.
Primitive arrows do not have to be reproductions.
All other arrows are considered modern.
The arrows will not be judged on performance. They will be judged on workmanship. This means that they can be wall-hangers, hunters, or whatever. If they are reproductions, they should be judged on how closely they match the originals. Again, they don't actually have to be working arrows.
Any input is welcome.
