Pappy - Another cape hanging for you.  Also, meat is cut, wrapped and in the freezer.  There are some steaks, roasts, 4 shoulders, stew meat, and sssshhhhhhhh quite a bit of backstrap.  Also, there is one roast that is labeled, "Bear sized roast."  I think that speaks for itself. You might want to wait until Bear visits to cook that one up  ;)

Got the hide in the freezer last night,they will both need to be fleshed,they had dryed to much to do that and I didn't have time to soak them,I will do that next week. :)

Merry Christmas to all, This is Friday for me and the last time I will be here till next Year. ;) :) :)
I have Christmas at the house this weekend and then to the cabin Sunday till the 1st. Got a bunch coming down to hunt and hang out ,it should be fun. Hope yall have a good one,see ya

Well if Mark didnt cook so dam good I wouldnt eat so much LOL

Been a great couple of weeks,missed yall but had a great time with all my buddies at the Cabin.
Only a couple of deer killed and several squirrels. But some fine eating and fellowship.Hope yall all had a good Christmas and great new year. Here are a few pictures of the week. Started out with Snow,which is cool for us and then the crowd showed up. :)

Made a big pot of  deer/elk Chile to start the week.Woody  and Alex showed up first and there was no room in the inn ;) :) :) so Woody set up his camper for him and Jon and Alex bunked in the Archery shop,nice and warn in there. :) I also got started on my project bow. :)

Then the NY boys showed up early enough for a first evening hunt,Sadie found Alex's bunk. ;) :)
Everyone seen deer through the week but only 3 shots taken. :)

Gary and hids son Steve shoed up late Sunday,they had some beautiful self bows, of course Hole in the limb Chuck had a fine looking hole bow and he could shoot it great to boot. We had a big brekfast every morning after the hunt,never ate some much breakfast before in my life. :)

Jimmy showed up and wanted to take some pictures,great seeing him. :) The girls meet the guys every morning as they showed back up from hunting. Alex killed a nice fat doe on some property he hunts up the highway a bit.Nice shot and deer.He gave me the hide and the NY boys the meat. :)
