The hand shock is barely noticeable. The tiller isn't terrible. It can be made quickly. Be forewarned if you make one after its dry and you start shooting it, it will sound like its breaking but it doesn't. I guess it glue making the sound. I've had this one for 10 to 15 yrs and it shoots exactly as it did the day it was 1st shot.

I like your ingenuity.  If it's functional than it has value in my book.  Dig the hat - where'd you find that at?
