Thawing out some deer heads I plan on mounting. The girls just cleaning up the scraps and Gary doing some warming up before the evening hunt. :)

Jon showed up for a couple of day visit , I saved the jaws out of the 2 heads I was boiling, I think 2 and 3 year old and want to make an ageing plaque with them, for 6 months to 6 years if I can come up with the jaws. :)

Just some hanging out, Will working on and Osage stave and of course Gary couldn't keep his hands off.
Then New years eve Beau/Christina and myself  started our yearly Brat making. :) We are starting to get a good bunch of good equipment and I plan on doing a lot more of this when I retire. Miss Joanie has been buying me stuff for the processing shop every Christmas for the last few years. :)

I tried to have the meat ready for grinding and all set up when Beau and Christina arrived.  ;) We had 2 and 1/2 deer to do all but the shoulder and back straps. ;)

Stuffing the brats, we made 180 of several different recipes. Of course we sampled each as we were stuffing. :)
