Or season opens next week,I have seen a few lately but haven't seen but very few
all winter.Don't know where the go.I guess they stay in the wood ,out of sight.Seen
lots of sign at the shoot week before last in the wood so I am sure they are still around.
Man I wished Friday would hurry up and get here. :) ;)

It's boo backed hickory. 50# @ 28".  71" long.  I did everything except the gluing.  I had the boo glued to the stave for me.  I'll take over on the next one....but the next one will be a selfbow from one of Pappy's staves most likely.

Had a great weekend, got a lot done.Greg and I got about 20 stave's worked down and in the hot box,I think we have 25 Adults and 5 kid so far.We will need a few m,ore but getting close. Also
got Marty's bow ready to brace and re tiller. It was to heavy and he wanted to recurve the tip.
Jimmy picked up and Osage stave and got it floor tillered and we straightened it and took out the propel la out and added some back set.It is now ready for the tillering stick. Also got the new addition finished and moved in some of our stuff,It will make things a lot less crowed this year at the classic.I am very pleased on how it turned out. Here are some pictures. :) We also got in a little shooting.

GregB took us to school again. :) Sadie got into something and tore off a piece of her ear,
so we got the bleeding stopped and put a little super glue on it and taped it up wit a rag and some duct tape,[that stuff is good for everthing] ;) ;D Grant got to work on his bow some,he likes to take his time.and Marty's IW bow on the form.I turned up the tips and heat treated the belly
and am now ready to re tiller. :)

I tend to judge the type weekend I had by what all I get involved in and help get accomplished. Had a good weekend!  ;)
Other then roughing in a few more bows, basically at this point need to have them all spend time on the forms to straighten and add reflex.

I also got to work on a bow I'm makiing for one of my brothers. Got the tips put on and finished shaping yesterday and also glued on snake skins last night.
