Shooting ok I hope ... You gave me such a range of specs that I didn't know what your true draw length was... Hoping it was around the 27" plus I left the hand wrap loose in case you wanted to add a arrow rest..  I didn't know if you shoot off hand or rest.

I've got my bow almost done, I'm just trying to figurebout the handle.
I have leather to wrap it, but I have a question....

I am not putting an arrow rest on it, which is why I have this question.  How do you know where to put your hand? As in, everytime I set the bow down, I am moving my hand. Is there some sort of marker I can use to mark where my hand should be, or??

Oh, and I put about 30 arrows downrange yesterday. It shot great! I don't have any other bows to compare it too, but the hand shock seemed really low and it wasn't very loud.

David what I did was nocked a arrow and held the bow to where the arrow is being shot off the hand .. I then took and marked above my index finger Ind that is where the top of my wrap is

I like that idea, but I really want to wrap the whole handle.... I just think it looks better.
Could I glue a small piece of wood/leather on to the handle where the top of my hand should be, and then rap leather over it? It would make a small bump right where my hand should stop. Sort of like the mark you are talking about, but it is under the leather.

I may just do it like you said....
I'll experiment with some stuff and post back what I end of doing.

I used a leather puncher with smallest hole maker to get my holes ... I folded my leather in half and punched holes
