I'm in no rush mate. Told you it had a touch of reflex >:D I'm gonna have to take it slow, probable put some deflex in the handle to save myself more wrinkles on my forehead ;)

I'll admit I'm still on the fence about plan A, it's just so... Clean. Like bleh clean. No fun. But it'll be nothing but a matter of time to make a real beast out of it.

Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.

Thank you Don for posting the pictures.
The hhb is 65" ttt and is pulling around 55@28 . I trapped the limbs so the belly is wider than the back 1 3/4  at the fade and slowly tapering to the thin nocks. I also put highlander bull horn on for tip overlays . But my guy will be getting a package early next week with the his and her osage bow blanks and the hhb. This hhb is going to be another hard one to ship off.

Thanks. I enjoyed making the hhb .
And the arrow shelf is made from black walnut . With a leather wrap handle.
I wish could find and post a picture of the highlander bull . They are wild looking .

Some belly closeups as requested by Pat.  There were a few knots that were hiding in there, but all except one are gone. Near the fade in the top limb. Hopefully it doesnt gine me problems. I just finished heat treating so the grain is popping out a bit more.  Its 2" wide, parallel  to midlimb, taper to the tips 67"ntn

Here it is at 16" before heat treating.  Still on the long string. Any thoughts?

Looks pretty good. I figured all of the knots had grown over to the point of  not being present in the finished bow except that one in the middle. Is that the one that's showing in the fade?
