LOL, Denver Pyle played a Beatnik in Dobie Gillis, way before your time.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Give you one guess what Im whipping up with these ingredients. I have started and stopped this too many times. Its time to finish it, and for good reason. I need to get some smoove on ordered for the bezel overlays.

Some nice looking staves going on here - should make some nice bows!  What kind of stave is that Chris?   ;)  That should be cool - looking forward to seeing that come together.
Enjoy the hunt!  Mitch

Pulled 5 osage staves out  when I got back to the shop today and looked 'em over while scratching my head and thinking about what I want to build. I have an idea of two options for what I want to build and one may require a pretty clean stave to work with and my osage don't look so clean. Won't know if I have the stave for that option until I start removing bark and sapwood. With any luck I won't have to reduce all 5 staves before I find what I'm looking for.  :)
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.
